If you are an existing owner of IKEA Smart bulb, now you can connect it with different HomeKits like Siri voice control, Amazon Alexa, Apple Homekit or Google Home. You need to upgrade their app to the latest version to avail these features. Known as TRÅDFRI, this app can be downloaded for Android ( for KitKat 4.4 and higher ) and iOS ( for ios 8 and above ) phones.

This update also added one new feature to make it compatible with Philips Hue Kit. That means, after the update, these bulbs can be connected via Philips Hue app. If you have a Philips HomeKit Hue setup, IKEA bulbs can be used with it directly.
